For a good few years on the 2nd of January I have stopped drinking alcohol, till the end of the month. This year is no different. Charities are also promoting this idea. The Government and Doctors are also advising that for the rest of the year having at least 3 days free of alcohol and keeping within the unit guidelines is a good idea as part of a healthy lifestyle. It also helps your bank balance. My thoughts about alcohol also extends to driving, if I am going to drive a vehicle I have no alcohol. That way there is no debate, am I over the limit and safe to drive.
