| No golf yesterday as the weather is being unkind and conditions out on the course, soft to downright unplayable. So with time on my hands I took to a little bit of portrait photography. Meet the pseudo family, who share our home. All are precious to me in various ways. The Fuchsia's were made from cuttings. The plant is in our garden, though it originally came from my Hubby's parents garden in S. Wales. The Geranium's have been with me for years. I put them outside in the Summer and bring them inside in the Winter, away from the cold weather. The Pelargonium's are a new addition to the household, were given as a present by the Village Association for services to the community. The Orchid was a present from friend's who live the other end of the country and came to stay with their dog. Originally it had 3 flowering stems, which lasted for months. Now it has a new stem, from which a flowering bud is forming. The basket of Hyacinth's was a Christmas present from Frances, relative, friend and fellow Grandparent. I wish I had smelly vision on my blog for you to enjoy the fragrance. |
